White Tomato Extract

There are many types of carotenoids, the most widely known being beta carotene (orange, which is high in carrots) and lycopene
(bright red, which is high in tomato peels). Colorless carotenoids (CLC) are the first carotenoids. They have no color and can
absorb ultraviolet rays. Color means it absorbs visible light; Colorless light does not absorb light from the visible spectrum.
The colorless carotenoids in crystal tomatoes can absorb UVA and UVB which cause skin pigmentation.
Regular tomatoes, which are high in carotenoids/carotenoids, can deepen the skin and turn it orange. The coloured carotenoids
contained in ordinary tomatoes do not whiten and resist uv rays. Only colorless carotenoids can absorb ultraviolet rays and
protect the skin. Other science has shown that the effectiveness of colorless carotene also reduces the existing melanin in the
skin, to prevent the formation of additional melanin.
