Sodium hexametaphosphate is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula of (NaPO3) 6. It is a white crystalline powder,soluble in water and insoluble in organic solvents. It is mainly used in the food industry as a quality improver, pH regulator,metal ion chelating agent, adhesive and expansion agent.
